SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
A Community School provides critical programs and services for students, their families and the community, including medical, dental, and mental health care; mentoring; expanded learning programs; and other services that ensure that children are physically, emotionally, and socially prepared to learn, and that strengthens the community.
This year, NYC and Jersey City schools have had more than $550 million in budget cuts, forcing schools to make choices about what can continue. Your donations will ensure that schools can sustain critical programs that directly impact students’ successes in school and beyond.

MEETING THE NEEDS OF STUDENTS, FAMILIES, & SCHOOL COMMUNITIES
Community Schools support the holistic needs of students, families, and school communities through strategic partnerships between public schools and non-profit organizations.
The Center for Supportive Schools serves as a lead non-profit organization and partner for 30 public schools in New York City and Jersey City. Our partnerships with schools center the voices of school staff, families, young people, and the community as they aim to improve student achievement.
Opportunities for supporting our schools are described below, and updated as needs arise.
